Mila, Give us a little ride on your story. How did it all begin? For most of my childhood I was a competitive gymnast, spending hours and hours a day in the gym for several years, rewardingly leading to my state champion title! At age 12 I transitioned to competitive dance, where I was inspired to immerse myself more in the industry. I started acting classes, and immediately fell in love with the craft- still loving it to this day! During the pandemic, I finally had the chance to start perusing music, which was a craft I had been hoping to dive into for quite some time! I now have 5 originals out + many covers.

You have won Young Actress Awards for two of your films. Describe this experience. Leading up to earning the award, I remember watching myself on the big screen for the first time in front an audience at a film festival — which itself was such a surreal and rewarding feeling. Earning the award was even more heartwarming, as I felt so grateful and inspired to continue doing what I love. Your first original song, In my Thoughts, is very Amazing. What was your inspiration to this?

Thank you! My inspiration for this song originated from the compiling thoughts running through my mind that I just could not understand how to express with words. This song uses metaphors and poetry to describe my mental state and true deep emotions. If the entertainment industry didn't come forward, what will you see yourself doing? I see myself potentially getting into the practice of being a psychologist— as I find psychology to be very fascinating and intricate. Mila, You have also appeared in music videos with King Bach and Anwar Jibawl. Describe this experience

These two are truly inspiring! Working with them was not only fun, but a memorable experience. They truly both have very creative minds and are very down to earth. Do you have any on-going project that you'll like to share?

I’m currently in the works of a very emotional new single that will be released soon this year ! Your latest song is Microwave. What was your inspiration to this and tell us a bit about the song. The idea of using such a simple object to create a metaphor and message was the first thing that inspired me to write this song. This song about the reminiscence of old times, growing as a person and finding myself along with finding the right people in my life. I speak on important values like trust and loyalty, which have been traits that’ve been hard to find in others. The story progresses as the song goes, and by the chorus I express the idea that I’ve figured things out, started fresh claimed my future. Lastly, Any word for your fans? I’m beyond grateful for the continual support, and giving me opportunity to share my art with the world.
