Mandy, give us a little ride on your story. How did you get into the entertainment industry?

I was always this fun and quirky little girl, singing and dancing ever since I was 2. One day, my dad’s friend, the Super Star Ricardo Arjona, told my parents, “Hey, you’ve got a star on your hands!” I started tagging along to my sister’s dance classes, and I loved it! By the time I was 5, I began vocal lessons and recorded my first song, “Sunday Funday.” After that, I went to so many dance competitions, joined acting classes, and kept making songs. Then, one day, I posted a dance video on TikTok, and it went so viral that I got invited to the Ellen DeGeneres Show! I’ve never stopped since, and I just love being in entertainment because it lets me be myself while doing what I love

Mandy, you dropped your first hit song at age five. What was your inspiration behind this?

One day, my dad was in his office when a friend came in and said, "Hey, I know a producer. Want me to talk to him about making a song for Mandy?" And that’s how “Sunday Funday” became a reality! The idea for the song actually came from something I always say to my mom: "It’s Sunday Funday! Let’s do something fun!" That little phrase became the inspiration for the whole song.

Your new single "DO THE HIT" has 3 million+ views on YouTube. How did it feel recording the song?

Now, “Do the Hit” has almost 5 million views! It’s so refreshing and rewarding to know that kids all over the world love my song. I feel both humble and super happy about it. Recording the song was a blast—PooBear is the best producer, and we really clicked. We spent so much time dancing and laughing in the studio. It was such a joyful process!

How would you describe how you felt performing at the 2022 skechers pier to pier friendship?

It felt unreal! I'm so grateful to be part of an event that helps kids in need. It’s an amazing cause, and performing in front of almost 20,000 people was such a thrill. I had an absolute blast!

Do you have any upcoming projects we should be expecting?

I just released my first rap called "GT," which stands for "Good Time," and I have so many more songs on the way. I can’t wait to share them all!

Any words for your fans?

I love you all so much, and you’re all so special to me! Thank you from the bottom of my heart for supporting me. I promise to keep working hard and following my dreams!
